Crescent Springs Presbyterian runs on people power! Our members share their gifts with the church by serving through several committees:
Session. Presbyterian churches share leadership through a governing body known as the Session, made up of nine ordained ruling elders and one teaching elder (the pastor) who acts as moderator. Members of session take on a wide range of responsibilities within the church, as they guide and support our ministries and envision our mission together.
Building and Grounds. Members of the Building and Grounds Committee take care of our building, so that it continues to be a safe and welcoming space for our ministries and for community groups.
Church Growth and Evangelism. Members of the Church Growth and Evangelism Committee are dedicated to sharing the good news about what’s going on at Crescent Springs Presbyterian!
Christian Education. Members of the Christian Education Committee share a passion for providing people of all ages with opportunities to learn about God and deepen their faith. Learn more about our Christian Education programs here.
Congregational Care Committee. Members of the Congregational Care Committee seek avenues to nourish our life together, through fellowship events and arranging aid for members in times of struggle. CCC is renowned for its reception food!
Finance and Stewardship.Members of the Finance Committee are responsible for ensuring we are good stewards of our resources, so that we may continue to worship God and serve our neighbor.
Mission. Members of the Mission Committee empower the congregation to heed God’s call to love our neighbors as ourselves, through a variety of mission projects. Learn more about how CSPC serves our neighbors here.
