Worship is at the heart of who we are as a church.
Crescent Springs Presbyterian is located conveniently off I-75, at 710 Western Reserve Rd in Crescent Springs, KY. Once you get here, drive around the back for parking, and come in the big glass doors. Any of our members will be happy to show you to a Sunday School classroom or the sanctuary (or, of course, the bathroom, because that’s important, too.)
If you really want to impress the pastor, something with the color of the liturgical season… we’re just kidding. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in–you’ll see some folks in skirts and jackets and some in tees and jeans. On the whole, we probably lean a little more casual, and we absolutely promise not to be all judgey.
Your children are welcome in worship–let them squirm, sing, and dance away! During worship, kids are invited forward for a time of their own on the front stairs. For pre-K through elementary school, we offer a prayground–a small table in the front corner of the sanctuary that lets kids color, move, and play while they learn the rhythms of worship. We have a paid child attendant to sit with them so you can worship from your pew. If you prefer, we can also pivot to providing nursery care. Our children’s staff and volunteers are background-checked and trained in child protection. We encourage you to experiment as you figure out the best way for you and your family to worship!
Yes! We have several handicapped parking spaces around the church as well as interior ramps to get you where you need to go. Ask any church member for help getting around.
At CSPC, we draw on a diverse array of music with which to praise God, from traditional hymns to global refrains to contemporary praise songs. Our music director and praise band share their gifts with us each Sunday, with the congregation joining in all songs. Whatever your style, we hope you hear something that touches your heart and helps you to praise the Lord!
Each week, Pastor Carol preaches for 10-15 minutes, connecting the day’s scripture lessons to the needs of our world. You can preview her sermons at carolhferguson.wordpress.com.
No. Although there may be a lot of people shaking your hand during the passing of the peace, we promise we won’t call you out during the service. If you feel at home with us and want to know more, just talk to our pastor or any of the members–we’d love to share with you what it’s like to be part of our family!
Absolutely! You can join our online worshipping community on our Facebook page by clicking here. You don’t have to have a Facebook account to watch; simply ignore the pop-up asking you to sign in. If you are watching live, feel free to submit your own prayer requests (being mindful of private details on a public page) and we will lift them during worship.
